Thursday: Physicality
“PEACE BURGER”
BY DR. LARRY MORRIS
As Americans, we are used to stopping for a hamburger for lunch or dinner or a snack. Why not take time to stop for a peace burger. When we bite into a hamburger, we taste the meat (or plant-based protein if we're vegetarians or vegans) and we feel nourished and fulfilled on a physical level. Our bodies are hungry for the hamburger. When we stop for a peace burger, we pause in our day, become quiet inside, relax, let go of all the noisy thoughts and concerns and just rest for a few minutes, letting ourselves feel at peace. A peace burger gives us inner nourishment and fulfillment. Things get clear in our heads, the burden is lifted from our hearts. We're OK and life's OK. You deserve a peace burger today.
