As we prepare for the new year, it is useful to re-collect ourselves, to rediscover who we are and what we are here on this earth to do. As Gerald Manley Hopkins said, "What I do is who I am, this is what I've come for." Who are we right now? And what are we doing with our lives? Where do we want to be five years from now? If we continue as we are right now, will we make it? If we do make it, will we be happy? Let's recollect ourselves today, right now. Let's make sure that our dreams and goals are our dreams and goals, not somebody else's. This is a good time of year to remember who we are and what we are about in this life. Let's gather ourselves together, bring ourselves to a clear point of focus to manifest a new and joyous life today.
